Marilyn Rose Sabean, 44, Halifax NS
On January 7, 1992 Marilyn was shot to death by her husband who then turned the gun on himself.
Marilyn was the mother of two adult children. Marilyn moved to Halifax from the Annapolis Valley, one year prior to her murder. She was a valued employee at Northwood Care Inc.
Prior to Marilyn’s death in January 1992, the RCMP reported that Marilyn’s husband pleaded guilty to two counts of pointing a gun at her in July and August 1990.
Family members reported that Marilyn’s husband was a depressed man who could not cope with life anymore, decided to take his life and his wife with him.
