Virginia Anne Webster, 64, White’s Lake NS
On December 9, 1992 Virginia and her husband were found dead by their daughter and son-in-law. Virginia had died of a blow to the head with a blunt object, while her husband died of self-inflicted knife wounds.
Virginia was the loving mother of two daughters and grandmother to four grandchildren.
Virginia was active in the fashion industry, both as a model and a coordinator. She was a volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society, Civic Hospital Auxiliary, Canadian Diabetes Association and Camp Hill Hospital Auxiliary.
Virginia was also a member of the Ashburn Golf and Country Club, as well as the Halifax Curling Club.
Neighbors commented that Virginia and her husband had a close knit and loving relationship.
According to RCMP, Virginia was gravely ill with cancer and an acquaintance of Virginia’s husband said he seemed down in the dumps about his wife.
